1. Information: Schools budget support grant 2026 allocations
We have published the schools budget support grant 2026 allocations.
We will make payments to local authorities in October 2026 and to academies in November 2026.
2. Information: Early years teachers’ pay grant allocations 2026
In July 2026 we published the conditions of grant, methodology, rates, and calculator tool for the early years teachers’ pay grant (EYTPG) 2026.
We have now published the EYTPG allocations for the 2026 to 2027 financial year.
We will make payments to local authorities in October 2026. Following this, we ask that local authorities make payments to eligible providers as soon as possible.
3. Information: Adult skills fund – funding confirmed for up to 10% over-delivery
As set out in the 2025 to 2026 funding rules, any delivery above a provider’s allocation remains subject to affordability and the relevant assurance and track record checks.
We are pleased to confirm that eligible adult skills fund delivery of up to 10% above your allocation will be funded for the 2025 to 2026 funding year.
We will calculate payments after we have received and reviewed R14 and final funding claims.
Providers should continue to ensure that:
- the individualised learner record and funding claim data is accurate
- all delivery is fully evidenced
