This example shows how business and economics students at The Burgate School and Sixth Form Centre confidently apply a range of analytical skills when interpreting data, and weigh their findings carefully in developing coherent and authoritative arguments. Regular and rigorous assessment of students’ performance against clear success criteria generates precise short-term targets for developing students’ higher level skills of application, analysis and evaluation.
