Above methodology notes set out information on data sources and methodology used to generate the developing faster indicators of transport activity. Where the methodology is consistent with regular Department for Transport (DfT) collections, the relevant documentation is linked below.
Large goods vehicles vocational driving tests - data is supplied by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), using the same data sources and methodologies as the DfT’s regular quarter series on driver and rider testing statistics. Guidance can be found in the relevant notes and definitions.
