This report reviews existing internal evidence related to the compliant environment. The report draws on a variety of research methods to identify and assess available data.
The report comprises two parts: firstly, a review of internal data and operational processes, summarising the workings of the compliant environment and how each measure operates in practice.
Secondly, drawing on the findings and the gaps identified, it presents an approach for evaluating the compliant environment both in its entirety and as a set of individual measures.
