Dennis (Haddenham) Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is to vary licence serial number AN/033/0035/018 which authorises the abstraction of water for spray irrigation from 1 April to 31 October inclusive. Water is abstracted from inland water known as Long Drove Drain and an unnamed drain in the Waterbeach Level Internal Drainage Board district at Water beach, Cambridgeshire between National Grid References (NGRs) TL 50561 66160 to TL 50771 66117 and TL 50748 65796 to TL 50935 66964.
The variation applied for is to add two abstraction reaches: NGRs TL 50537 65786 to TL 50739 65765 and TL 50935 66964 to TL 51137 67254.
