Dennis (Haddenham) Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a full licence to abstract water from unnamed drains within the Waterbeach Level Internal Drainage Board district at Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire between National Grid References (NGRs) TL 50561 66160 and TL 50771 66117, and between NGRs TL 50748 65796 and TL 50935 66964.
The application is to abstract water as follows:
- 46 cubic metres an hour
- 455 cubic metres a day
- 7,273 cubic metres a year
- between 1 April and 31 October inclusive in each year.
The water will be used for spray irrigation.
