This memorandum provides an overview and analysis of the budget sought by Defra in the 2024 to 2025 Main Estimate.

It demonstrates consistency with the plans approved in the 2021 Spending Review (SR21). It also sets out changes from the 2023 to 2024 Supplementary Estimate.
