This 5-year strategy will guide how the Department for Culture, Media and Sport will approach monitoring and evaluation as a department and with their 41 arm’s length bodies. The document reports progress on our previous strategy, the challenges that remain, and priorities for the future. The new strategy aims to enhance public value by improving our collective understanding of what works for people, places, and communities. This will be achieved by working collaboratively and closely with our ALBs and ensuring interventions are designed and adapted using monitoring and evaluation evidence.
