David Jeremy Trehane has applied to the Environment Agency to vary a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is to vary licence serial number 13/43/037/022 which authorises the abstraction of water from a spring fed catchpit at Pompeys Lane in the Parish of Hempreston.
The variation applied for is: to instead abstract water from an unnamed drain at National Grid Reference SZ 05989 99804 at Trehane Nursery, Stapehill Road; to extend the abstraction season; and to increase the annual abstraction volume to 8,400 cubic metres per year.
