David Henry Gibbon, Lucy Jane Gibbon, Jacomb David Gibbon and Joshua Henry Gibbon, trading as Gibbon Farms has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is to vary licence serial number AN/037/0025/010.

The variation applied for is to increase the current abstraction quantities.

The varied licence would allow abstraction between November and March inclusive at National Grid Reference TM 10930 18800 for the purpose of filling a reservoir for subsequent spray irrigation. The quantities from these licences would be combined to give the following new quantities:

  • 22 litres a second
  • 79 cubic metres an hour
  • 1,896 cubic metres a day
  • 136,500 cubic metres a year
  • from 1 November to 31 March inclusive.
