David Campey trading as Sandhill Farms has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is to vary licence serial number NE/027/0024/043 which authorises the abstraction of water from a borehole drilled into the Sherwood Sandstone aquifer at Thorpe Willoughby, Selby, North Yorkshire at National Grid Reference SE 58193 31290.

The variation applied for is to increase the annual quantity from 35,000 cubic metres to 55,000 cubic metres.

Abstraction under licence NE/027/0024/043 shall continue to be authorised at the rates of 45 cubic metres per hour, 600 cubic metres per day, between April and October inclusive for the purpose of spray irrigation.
