At Autumn Statement 2016, the Chancellor asked the National Infrastructure Commission to undertake a study into how technology can improve infrastructure productivity. The Commission’s report on technology, ‘Data for the Public Good’ was published on 14 December 2017. Today (19 July 2017) the government sets out a detailed response to the recommendations.
