The Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities wrote to local authorities in England on 19 November 2022 to request data on damp and mould hazards in their private rented sector properties, and the action they have taken to remediate them. This document is a summary of the returns received from 309 local authorities in England. Also attached is a full set of local authority damp and mould returns.
