The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Hanson Quarry Products Europe Limited.

Regulated facility type
This application is for a bespoke permit for a soil washing facility and treatment of non-hazardous waste activity at the proposed site. The soil treatment activities will produce recycled aggregates, soils and clays for use in the construction industry. The combined treatments will process up to 800,000 tonnes per annum of non-hazardous soil.
