D Pain and Sons: application made to abstract water

Alan Pain, Patrick Pain, Shelia Pain, Angela Taylor, Patricia Pain trading as D Pain and Sons have applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a full licence to abstract water from Dick Brook at Witley Park Farm, Great Witley, Worcestershire between National Grid References SO 77570 68504 and SO 77867 68087.
The application is to abstract water as follows:
- 68 cubic metres an hour
- 545 cubic metres a day
- 20,000 cubic metres a year
- Between November and March inclusive in each year.
The water will be used for filling a reservoir for subsequent spray irrigation.
