Divers will be working with our hydraulic systems contractor to install new hydraulic hoses on the tail lock gates at Culham Lock on Tuesday 12 July 2022.
There will be intermittent lock closures whilst the divers are in the water installing the new hoses.
This work is required to maintain resilience at this lock. By carrying out this work now we will safeguard against the risk of a major unplanned long duration lock closure should the existing hydraulic hoses fail.
