30 January 2020 – Tender opportunity opens for the delivery of Criminal Defence Direct Services from 1 June 2020

A new tender opportunity for the delivery of Criminal Defence Direct Services (CDD Services) has opened today.

The deadline for submitting tenders is 9am on 2 March 2020.

We are inviting applicants who meet the minimum tender requirements to submit a tender for a Police Station Telephone Advice Contract (PSTA) 2020 to deliver CDD Services for 12 months from 1 June 2020 to 31 May 2021. The LAA requires two CDD providers. There is currently one CDD provider as the second has left the market and as a result we have decided to procure a contract with another provider to undertake part of the CDD Services.

Organisations wishing to apply will need to submit a response to the:

  • selection questionnaire
  • CDD invitation to tender

Further information on this procurement process including the requirements applicants will need to meet can be found in the relevant Information for Applicants (IFA) document in the ‘documents’ section above.

Contract documentation is available on the PSTA Contract 2020 page

All tenders must be submitted using the e-Tendering system. A helpline has been set up to support you if you have technical problems with the e-Tendering system: help@bravosolutions.co.uk; 0800 069 8630. Lines are open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday

If organisations have any questions about the content of the IFA these must be raised through the e-Tendering system by 5pm on 10 February 2020.

Questions of wider interest will be collated and answered through a frequently asked questions document which will be published on this webpage during the week commencing 17 February 2020.
