This document assesses the impact of designating the Independent Housing Ombudsman Limited as the single ombudsman for complaints about social housing landlords, and of transferring responsibility for handling complaints about local authority social landlords from the Local Government Ombudsman to the Independent Housing Ombudsman Limited.
