Closure of Scheme Cessation and Scheme Reconciliation eRooms
In Countdown Bulletin 55 we told you that HMRC intended to start the closure of the Scheme Cessation and Scheme Reconciliation eRooms from 1 September 2021.
After the bulletin was published we received feedback from some pension scheme administrators expressing concerns that they would not be able to extract the information they need from the eRooms within the given timeframe.
To support these administrators, HMRC will delay the start of the closure of the eRooms until the end of November 2021.
Raising queries with HMRC
All Guaranteed Minimum Pension (GMP) queries should come to HMRC using the GMP Checker at a life event.
If you have another query that fits within the high level descriptions of HMRC’s service, as advised in Countdown Bulletin 49 but that is not appropriate to the GMP Checker you should email it to CRM.schemereconciliationservice@hmrc.gov.uk.
