Details

This study provides cost data for different heating appliances, covering:

  • gas boilers
  • oil boilers
  • biomass boilers (pellet)
  • air source heat pumps
  • ground source heat pumps
  • air-air heat pumps (air conditioners)
  • direct acting electric heaters (panel heaters)
  • storage heaters (high heat retention storage heaters, dynamic/fan-assisted storage heaters, and standard/slimline storage heaters)

The cost of each technology is broken down into key constituent components (including materials, labour, ancillary costs), and high and low estimates are also provided where available.
