Corner House complaint to UK NCP about Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) Pipeline
Complaint about a UK managed company not meeting specified labour relations requirements in Azerbaijan, to the UK National Contact Point for the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.
These statements record the findings and recommendations of the UK National Contact Point (UK NCP) about a complaint.
The complaint is from a number of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) stating that Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) Pipeline, a UK managed company, did not comply with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) guidelines.
The BTC Pipeline is managed by BP Exploration (Caspian Sea) Limited, a subsidiary of BP PLC, on behalf of the shareholders in the BTC Pipeline Company.
