Details
River traffic will be disrupted at Cookham Lock from Monday 29 March 2021 to Thursday 1 April 2021.
This is to allow the completion of safety improvements along the lock side by removing the walkways from the disused middle set of lock gates. Our contractor will be using a small pontoon within the lock chamber to work from in order to complete these necessary works.
We will manage these works to minimise the disruption to our customers by working in short periods of up to 2 hours, then enabling lock passage for periods of 2 hours.
