  1. The current test facilities received their approval on the 20th June 2013.

  2. The current contracts are due to expire in April 2018.

  3. The advert was placed on the Home Office Science website – Working with Us.

  4. This advert went out in December 2011.

  5. The award was based on an initial paper sift in response to questions, followed by a visit and audit of the facilities. See Appendix A, B and C on PDF.

  7. The next tender will be announced prior to the end of the current contract dates, this date has not yet been set. Advertised in accordance with guidance from Home Office procurement services.

  8. The intention is to charge an annual accreditation fee of £1,000, however this has not been charged to date.
