The report provides details of the construction products sector and sub-sectors. It provides analysis of construction product standards in the UK. It examines the sales value and proportion of the construction product market that is covered by the 444 Designated Standards as of April 2025.

The report also examines the:

• broader construction products sector, including business demographics, economic output and employment
• capacity and geographical distribution of the UK’s conformity assessment bodies (CABs), which are responsible for certifying compliance with the standards
