Details

This project identified twelve gaps and associated opportunities where licensing service could facilitate inclusion of nature-based solutions (NBS). Of the twelve opportunities, six relate to the regulatory regime and application process, three link to guidance and training, two focus on evidence generation and use, and one concerns policy implementation. The study intended to inform future licensing practice and service transformation initiatives, including the Marine and Licensing Programme (MPLP).
