This Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) challenge led competition seeks proposals for innovative technologies that translate recent breakthroughs in metasurface science into practical demonstrative products.
This will enable the Ministry of Defence to harness a revolution in electromagnetic hardware. DASA are potentially interested in both novel metasurfaces and the manufacturing technologies to integrate them into platforms. DASA wishes to better understand the benefits that current and future metasurface technologies can bring to front-line capabilities, in applications across the electromagnetic spectrum (from radio frequencies to the ultraviolet).
This competition has up to £500,000 available in phase 1 of this competition with an additional funding of up to £500,000 for phase 2.
