Register of Overseas Entities - fees determination (May 2024)

1. The registrar of companies determines the fees set out below in exercise of the power conferred on them by section 1063(5) of the Companies Act 2006(a) (fees payable to the registrar) to determine fees chargeable in respect of the performance of functions or the provision of services or facilities by them.

2. The fees so determined are fees which apply in relation to functions, services and facilities for which fees are not provided for in regulations or, where such fees are provided for, in circumstances other than those to which such fees apply.

3. Any words or expressions which are used in this document which are defined or otherwise explained in the Economic Crime (Transparency and Enforcement) Act 2022 have the same meaning or explanation here as they have in the Act.

4. Certified copies are provided as ‘same day delivery’ or ‘same day collection’ if:

  • a. a request for same day delivery or same day collection is received by the registrar before 2pm on the day in question, and
  • b. the appropriate certificate or certified copy is issued to the applicant on that day
