Agenda Item 1: Chair’s Welcome, Members Interests, Minutes of Last Meeting 

1. The Chair welcomed members and formally welcomed new members to the Committee:

  • Richard Fitton
  • Ross Armstrong

Members’ interests were noted, and the minutes of the previous meeting were agreed as final.

Agenda Item 2: Resolution Foundation 

2. The Committee received a presentation from the Resolution Foundation on recent trends in energy bills, distributional impacts on lower‑income households and factors likely to influence future bills. Members discussed factors influencing future energy costs and support for households.

Agenda Item 3: CFP Workplan 2026 

3. The Committee discussed its work priorities in 2026, including areas for future focus and potential themes for further consideration.

Agenda Item 4: CFP Research Project 25/26 - update

4. The Committee received an update on the CFP Research Project 25/26, including insights from engagement with households and next steps in the development of the draft report.

Agenda Item 5: DESNZ Update

5. The Committee received an update from DESNZ on recent developments and forthcoming milestones.

Agenda Item 6: AOB 

6. The next formal meeting will be held on 23 March 2026.
