Agenda item 1: Chair’s welcome, members interests, minutes of last meeting
1. The Chair welcomed members. No new member interests were declared. The previous minutes of the formal meeting were agreed as final.
Agenda item 2: DESNZ update
2. DESNZ provided the Committee with an update on fuel poverty schemes and recent DESNZ consultations.
Agenda item 3: Cost on bills
3. DESNZ provided an overview of the factors influencing energy bills.
Agenda item 4: Warm Homes Plan, Fuel Poverty Strategy and PRS MEES
4. DESNZ provided an update on upcoming energy efficiency and fuel poverty measures, including recent developments and next steps.
Agenda item 5: Reclassification of CFP - Expert Committee
5. The Committee received an update on the reclassification of CFP as an Expert Committee and discussed the implications for its status and processes.
Agenda item 6: AOB
6. The next formal meeting will be held on 26 January 2026.
