Agenda Item 1: Chair’s welcome, members interests, minutes of last meeting 

1. The Chair welcomed members, noted members’ interests and welcomed Fallon Wilkinson to the Committee. The minutes of the previous meeting were agreed as final.

Agenda Item 2: DESNZ update

2. The Committee received an update from DESNZ on recent developments and forthcoming work.

Agenda Item 3: Energy UK

3. The Committee received a presentation from Energy UK on the drivers of energy bills and levels of household energy debt.

Agenda Item 4: Ofgem

4. The Committee received an update from Ofgem on its review of how energy system costs are allocated and recovered through bills.

Agenda Item 5: CFP Research Project 2026/2027

5. The Committee received an update on the development of proposals for the 2026/2027 CFP Research Project.

Agenda Item 6: AOB 

6. The next meeting will be held on 18 May 2026.
