Brief description of activity
The application is for an environmental permit to operate an integrated waste management facility comprising a waste incineration plant, paper pulp plant, anaerobic digestion facility, mechanical biological treatment facility, materials recycling facility and waste water treatment plant. The waste incineration plant, paper pulp plant and anaerobic digestion facility will be regulated as Section 5.1 Part A(1), Section 6.1 A(1) and Section 5.4 A(1)(b)(i) activities of the Environmental Permitting Regulations (EPR) 2016 respectively. Emissions from the Installation will be discharged to atmosphere via a main stack, 58 metres above surrounding ground levels.
