Details

These awards recognise NHS consultants and academic GPs who perform ‘over and above’ the standard expected of their role.

As in recent years, this round was highly competitive and we recommended the top 300 applications in England for new awards and the top 18 applications in Wales.

Successful candidates’ letters have been sent by email and employers have also been informed.

Following stakeholder feedback, the results documents now show successful consultants’ specialties.

We anticipate that the 2018 awards round will open in February 2018, but will make an announcement on this when the timetable is agreed.
