Details

This directory contains summaries of 40 innovative projects funded under round 1 of the Energy Catalyst. The projects were showcased at a Collaboration Nation event in London on 11 February 2016.

The Energy Catalyst was set up by Innovate UK, the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, the Department of Energy and Climate Change and the Department for International Development to support projects that address the so-called ‘energy trilemma’ of providing energy that is affordable, resilient and clean.

Energy markets across the world are facing huge disruption caused by new localised systems, changing regulation, large fluctuations in price and new clean technologies.

The directory contains summaries of 23 early-stage feasibility projects and 17 mid-stage and late-stage projects funded by Innovate UK.
