Details

A Notice of Registration of Civil Partnership may be accepted after both parties have been resident in the Philippines for seven (7) clear days.

The British partner must give written notice of the intended registration to the Consul on a Notice of Civil Partnership form also electing which part of the United Kingdom he/she wishes their partnership to be recognised. He/She must have some connection to this area. This notice will be displayed on the notice board for 14 days. The registration may take place on the 15th day after the notice has been displayed. A civil partnership must take place within three (3) months of the date giving notice. The couple must appear at the British Embassy Manila with two (2) witnesses who will then be required to sign on the registration document.
