Documents

Annex F (amendment): Regulation 24

Details

With effect from 1 April 2023, incremental progression through the pay scale is dependent upon an officer meeting the requirements of the pay progression standard as set out in Part 1BA of Annex F. Amendments have been made to Annex F to revoke the parts that relate to the previous pay progression arrangements which now cease to apply.

Annex U made under Regulation 34 of Police Regulations 2003 provides flexibility for chief constables to make discretionary payments of up to £5,000 a year to recruit and retain officers in service critical or demanding roles. This flexibility was due to cease on 30 June 2023 but has now been extended to 30 June 2024.
