This circular publishes amendments to determinations made under the Police Regulations 2003 to close the old entry routes – the Initial Police Learning and Development Programme.
With effect from 1 April 2023, applicants to appointment as a police constable must enter through either the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship, the Degree Holder Entry Programme or the pre-degree in policing.
