Details

TNS-BMRB were commissioned to conduct eight surveys to collect information about childcare and early years provision and its workforce. In this report the survey findings are drawn together to highlight similarities and differences across the sectors, as well as providing details of the whole childcare and early years workforce.

The findings from the 2009 survey have been compared with those from similar surveys conducted in 2008, 2007 and 2006 and where appropriate 2005, 2003 and 2001. The data have been weighted and grossed to provide national estimates.
