Details

This report was commissioned by the Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel.

It evaluates the impact of the panel’s work to support learning from incidents where children have died or been seriously harmed because of abuse or neglect.

The research objectives were to:

  • assess the impact of the panel’s activities and products on child safeguarding policy and practice
  • understand safeguarding stakeholders’ awareness of the panel’s functions and their expectations regarding the panel’s safeguarding systems
  • provide actionable recommendations on strategic and operational changes for the panel’s work, and for evaluating its impact in the future

The research was done by IFF Research.
