Details

On 14 March 2014 the Minister of State for Transport set out our intentions and understanding in respect of the 4 elements of a Channel Tunnel First Railway Package infraction that still needed to be resolved.

On 4 April 2014 the European Commission’s response confirmed that it was formally discontinuing action against the UK and France for non-compliance with provisions of the First Railway Package.
