An application has been made to the Environment Agency by CGP (South West Limited). The Environment Agency are required to give notice of this application.

The application is to vary a licence to impound (stop or alter the flow of) water, serial number SW/047/0042/004, which authorises the impoundment of water on the River Walkham between National Grid References (NGR) SX 53860 71333 and SX 53865 71324.

The variation applied for is to:

  • alter the positioning of the fishpass
  • adjust the height of one section of the fishpass
  • reposition the trash boom

Further details are:

  • reprofiling of the fish pass crests
  • lowering of the upstream entrance of the fishpass
