CEMEX UK Materials Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 8 of The Water Abstraction (Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2017.
The Environment Agency has received the following abstraction licence application within the Welland catchment.
The application is for a transfer licence is to abstract water as follows:
- at an instantaneous rate of 69 litres per second
- 248 cubic metres an hour
- 5,962 cubic metres a day
- 314,500 cubic metres a year
- between 1 April and 31 March inclusive in each year
- at National Grid References (NGRs) TF 10911 10503, TF 11257 10624, TF 11517 09642 and TF 10969 09438
- from abstraction location sand and gravels, West Deeping.
The water will be used for of dewatering.
