The commission considered complaints against a scheme that it made to transfer the Castle Trust’s half share of the freehold of the Theatre Royal, Margate to the Margate Theatre Royal Trust. The commission concluded that the scheme had been properly made and would remain in force.

This decision is significant because it concerns a review of a commission scheme that was put into place to settle a long running dispute.
