This document provides an update to previously issued guidance on capital expenditure in the Capacity Market (CM). It is intended to provide greater clarity for prospective applicants to the CM and those holding CM agreements relating to multi-year agreements for Demand Side Response Capacity Market Units (DSR CMUs).

Capital Expenditure is a defined term within CM Rules. Prospective applicants or those holding CM agreements should refer to the CM Rules in parallel to this guidance.

This document provides guidance only and should not be relied on as a substitute for reading the Principal Regulations, the Rules, or obtaining independent legal advice.
