Cancellation of Accredited Official Statistics designation for UK Sea Fisheries Statistics
Marine Management Organisation (MMO) has cancelled the accredited official statistics designation for its UK Sea Fisheries Statistics publications while further improvements are made to statistical processes, methodology and data quality.

Details
Following discussions with the Office for Statistics Regulation, the MMO requested the cancellation of accreditation for its UK Sea Fisheries Statistics publications on 27 October 2026. The MMO will continue its programme of statistical improvements and intends to seek reaccreditation once this work is complete.
