Cancellation cost of scheduled and chartered flights from 2012 to 2013

  1. In 2012 to 2013 5 chartered flights were cancelled with a total loss of £316,328.

  2. Three flights to Afghanistan were cancelled due to security and technical issues on 17 April 2012, 16 May 2012, 11 September 2012. The cost of these cancellations was £290,028. One flight to Nigeria was cancelled due to technical issues on 2 October 2012 at a cost of £26,300 and 1 flight to Ghana was cancelled for diplomatic reasons at no cost.

  3. Flight to Sao Paulo cancelled on 8 June 2012 at a cost of £1326.79. Flight to Freetown cancelled on 5 September 2012 at a cost of £1315.79. Flight to Tunis cancelled on 5 April 2012 at a cost of £1176.88, 1 ticket non-refundable. Flight to Rome cancelled on 23 July 2012 at a cost of £850.71, non-refundable. Flight to Kosice cancelled on 6 April 2012 at a cost of £826.10, 1 ticket non refundable.
