This licensing strategy sets out how water resources are managed in the Broadland catchment.

It provides information about where water is available for further abstraction. It also gives an indication of how reliable a new abstraction licence may be.

  1. 1) Revised explanation of our area approach to renewing time limited licences and addressing sustainability. 2) Clarification of our position that the requirements of habitats directive sites will over-ride the CAMS status. 3) Minor changes to the status of water bodies and the hands off flows in certain areas. 4) New maps where necessary to keep up with these changes.
