The Environment Agency has received an application to vary an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2010 (that does not involve substantial change) from Sellafield Limited. The Environment Agency also propose to vary this environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2010.

Section 4.2 A(1) (h): any activity, other than the combustion or incineration of carbonaceous material as defined in the Interpretation of Part A(1) of Section 1.2 of this Schedule, which is likely to result in the release into the air of any acid-forming oxide of nitrogen. Section 3.1 B (b): Blending cement in bulk or using cement in bulk other than at a construction site, including the bagging of cement and cement mixtures, the batching of ready-mixed concrete and the manufacture of concrete blocks and other cement products.
