C T Sheldon and Son has applied to the Environment Agency to vary a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application (in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006).

The application is for a variation to full licence 03/28/69/0237 to abstract water from the River Trent at South Clifton, Nottinghamshire.

The variation applied for is to add a new abstraction reach between National Grid References SK 81184 64076 and SK 80567 62368 without change to the currently permitted abstraction quantities. The water will be used for the spray irrigation of potato crops.
