Details of the application
C P Fabb & Co has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The following application has been made to replace, on the same terms, the existing time limited variations due to expire on 31 March 2018.
The application is to abstract water from Drainage Dykes at Stokesby at National Grid Reference (NGR) TG 43206 12061.
The existing abstraction is for 29,458 cubic metres per year (981 cubic metres per day) between July and September for spray irrigation. The variation being renewed is to add abstraction point 2 at TG 43154 11731 and Abstraction reach 3 between TG 42451 11513 and TG 43812 12113. The variation will also extend the abstraction period to between April and October.
