Details

This business implementation study was undertaken by ICF between January and June 2026, in agreement with the Government of Ghana and funded by the Department for Transport (DfT). The report:

  • assesses viable feedstocks and pathways for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production
  • details the most credible near-term implementation opportunities for Ghana

DfT has conducted international capacity building on aviation decarbonisation to strengthen the global implementation of decarbonisation measures, generating socio-economic opportunities at home and abroad and fostering international cooperation and goodwill.
